Her main purpose is that they get lost and the family has enough to eat. So much for happy endings!Īccording to the Grimm Brother's tale, Hansel and Gretel are the brother and sister pair whose step-mother decides to leave them in the forest when there is a famine. Cinderella and Prince Daft continue ruling the kingdom. At the wedding, Cinderella's sisters try to win her over but the doves fly down and peck both their eyes out, making them blind.
